Barry Switzer Claims that BYU Bugged Headphones
Posted by Eric Nielson on April 26th, 2007Does anybody know anything about this? I came across this blog that reports that ESPN radio host Collin Cowherd let it slip that the former Oklahoma football coach believes that BYU bugged opponents headphones during games. Seems far fetched to me. The blog rumor can be seen here.

He said that she said that some guy said that they knew a person who heard from a friend’s cousin who is “in the know” that they bug headphones. Right.

For a Fun Quote:
“I guess if Barry Switzer says we’re No. 1, then we’re No. 1.”

Yes Connor. One of the comments at the blog I link to points out that Barry Switzer never played BYU. But that did not stop Cowherd from putting it into his radio show and podcast.

I think in Switzer’s auto-biography, Bootlegger’s Boy, he said that if the NCAA fully investigated every school and punished them accordingly, the championship game every year would be played between BYU and Oral Roberts.

That’s really nice.
Why don’t they get Bluetooth headphones and have some spare?
